Google Research posted this image that is the result of a computer dream.  It started as a solid grey image and Google AI was told to enhance the image 24,000 times.

Control data drives from the late 70's

This drawing represents 512 CDC SMD 300 MB drives. I've installed more than that at libraries all over the USA.

How much can this store?
Multiply 512 drives time 300 MegaBytes (300,000,000) and you get 153,600,000,000 Bytes, ( 154 Gigabytes)

A modern little USB drive is 4 Terabytes.
It holds as much as 25 rooms full of those old 1980 era drives.

IOWA APP - What went wrong?

The first indication that the App was built by an armature is that it doesn't have it's own Icon, It uses the default Android Icon to launch it.

To Understand why the App was built I scoured the news sites and double checked all the facts I could find.

Then I built a little diagram of the key connected facts

 Looks Like the Husband of the campaign manager for Pete Buttigieg created the app.

Do you have twin brothers?
I don't. so I made some. These are both me... Errr. half of me.
 The Blue image is two copies of the left side of my face. The right image, is two copies of the right side of my face. Why would I do such a dumb thing?

While the two photos seem like a foolish prank, they have a use. I wanted to see if google and other facial recognition software would correctly identify these two artificial people. It turns out it is never fooled by such tom-foolery.
